Department of Elementary Education and Reading
After a very hearty breakfast, we spent a few minutes before going to school making some visits to the local post office and the town library. One of our plans for next week is to do book readings at the local library--one for children in the early afternoon, and the other for adults in the evening. We met with Pio at the library where we discussed some preliminary plans for the readings over a cup of expresso. When we left the library we proceeded to the school where Philomena led our planning and scheduling some of the next weeks assignments at the school and the community. We then worked on our readings for presentations. The plans are developing, but we will practice before we do the readings
