Actually, I've been getting ready for this wonderful experience for over two years. As January 4th approaches,
however, I I am experiencing what some people would say are "butterflies" in y stomach. I am excited for myself and for everyone accompanying me to Rome and then Torremaggiore. I have a list of things to do today, mixed in with with the Christmas shopping and gift deliveries I still need to do, I am going to AAA to pick up an adapter for my laptop and some Euros to get me through the first few hours in Rome. I might even spring for a lighter suitcase while I'm there.
