Arrived in Rome as scheduled on KLM. The van service that has been reserved was waiting for us at Flumicino. So I can say that getting here went without a hitch. We were really tired by the time we Arrived at the Hotel Orlando, so it wasn't surprising that everyone opted for a short rest before going out on the town. Out first stop when we did go out ( about 5PM Italy time) was to a restaurant suggested by the proprietor of the Orlando Everyone ordered some type of pasta or pizza and then we went for a vary long walk Below you can see that we were all feeling pretty happy about the way things turned out the first day away from home. Our walk tonight took us to the Coliseum. I have to admit that while I have been. At this site several times before in my life, I have never seen it all lit up at night. The Arch of Constantine, not far from the Colosseum was flanked by a. beautifully lit. Christmas tree. Gelata is a must even after a great meal

Georgio's Limo is picking Cindy Chatoo, Mary Shea and I at my place on the way to Buffalo State where the group will be waiting. Nice of the Limo service to do that so we don't have to worry about car issues. Cindy came in last night. She is rightfully excited about the new adventure she is about to embark upon. Everything is set and I hope all goes as planned. See you later.
